Pickup FAQ
How much is the deposit?
A single $1 deposit covers your order request, credited toward the final price and refundable on cancellation. Eligible bottle deposits use a separate Square checkout step; candle and mixed-product checkout is not available through the bottle link. The deposit stays $1 regardless of item count. For example, 3 bottles require one $1 deposit for the whole request. A paid deposit is credited toward the final price and refundable on cancellation without a processing-fee deduction. Existing requests retain the deposit terms agreed to when submitted.
Is my order confirmed when I send a request?
No. A request tells me what you'd like. Your order is confirmed only when I email you to say so, with your pickup details.
Does the deposit come off the final price?
Yes. One refundable $1 deposit covers the whole request, regardless of quantity, and is credited once toward its final price; it is not an extra fee. Any applicable tax is provided with the final details. A submitted request or a visit to Square does not establish that the deposit was paid. Existing requests retain their original deposit terms.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, on cancellation, without a processing-fee deduction. Cancelling a request is not itself proof that a refund has been processed. Contact the owner about any payment made outside this website.
How many items can I request?
Up to four bottles per email per pickup batch, four candles total per email per production round, and separately three bath bombs across scents per email per round, including repeat requests. Email matching ignores surrounding spaces and letter case; this is not a household limit.
How is my deposit payment recorded?
Save your request first, then review the bottle deposit step. Square checkout is offered only when eligible and its pickup settings are ready. Payment confirmation is not synced to this website; a submitted request or a visit to Square is not proof of payment. Your private request page shows the payment record separately from the deposit amount. Do not treat an amount shown as a payment receipt.
What does a bottle cost?
See the drink page for the current bottle price. That's 32 fl oz of Cowboy Leche, and the reusable swing-top glass bottle is included. Any applicable tax is provided with your final order details.
Where and when is pickup?
Pickup is local, in Syracuse, Utah. See the next batch for the confirmed date and Mountain Time window. The exact pickup address will be provided by email on pickup day. There is no shipping or delivery.
How will I hear back?
By email. You'll get a note that your request arrived, then a private link with your order details once they're ready. Check your spam folder if nothing shows up.
Does it contain dairy?
Yes. Cowboy Leche contains milk. See the ingredient and allergen information.
How should I store it?
Keep it refrigerated. Shake well and serve cold over ice.
Can I change or cancel my request?
Yes. Use the private order link in your email to request a change or cancel. Changes to an order that's already confirmed need my review first.
What if requests exceed a production goal?
Additional unpaid requests are welcome. Goals are planning targets, not stock limits. Production and pickup are not guaranteed; I'll review your request and email you.
How do candle requests work?
Candles are preorders with one refundable $1 deposit for your request, credited toward the final price. Each candle needs 20 distinct deposit-backed customers in its production round; unpaid requests do not meet that minimum. Choose a dated pickup request or unscheduled interest. Production and pickup are subject to confirmation.
How do bath bomb requests work?
See the bath-bomb page for the current price. Choose up to 3 across the five scents per normalized email per production round, separate from candle and bottle limits. Requests open only after ingredients, care and disclosures are verified. A round needs 20 eligible deposit-backed units across scents; unpaid interest is not production progress. One $1 deposit covers your whole request.
